Center: - Grow and Taste

Greenacres Community Center have a date to remember.

A two hour workshop on growing healthy food in a small way,take away somthing you can grow and eat.

Grow your own? We all fancy the idea of having a vegetable patch, but really have no idea how to start and really,is it going to be a lot of hard work and digging?  This first session of Grow and Taste is made for you if you have answered yes to both these questions.  It is also for you, if you are a keen gardener, as you will have the chance to speak to an expert on growing vegetables.  During this two hour session amongst other things you will pot up a plant for you to take away, watch it grow, and eat it.  Also, if you only have a small garden, you will get advice on growing good things to eat in pots and containers.

Grow & Taste will run on:

MONDAY 14 JULY - 7.30pm - 9.30pm and

WEDNESDAY 16 JULY 1.00pm - 3.00pm.
