Saturday Keep Fit And Lunch Club
The Get Fit To Keep Fit group is now funded through Health Strength, part of the Lottery Fund. Eating healthy and exercising safely. Meets every Saturday morning 11am - 1pm in the Lower Hall.The aim of the group is to introduce members to gentle exercise, and encourages those who want to be more active in their daily life, while offering ideas for eating healthy to complement a healthy lifestyle, at the same time as joining a group and meeting new people. Sharon, is our fully qualified fitness instructor who delivers the keep fit class for the first hour, followed by a light lunch prepared by Angela and volunteers who will always be on hand to advise on diet and nutrition for the second hour.Prior to lunch the exercise comprises of a warm up, a routine which targets all the large muscle groups, and a cool down stretch period. As a proffesional instructor, Sharon can deliver this programme to all ages and abilities and will give you guidance before the exercise.Come along and join us every Saturday morning, this is a very sociable group and you will be made to feel welcome.From 2nd April 2016 - Fitness Class FREE. Lunch £2.00 ( paid a week in advance).Come for one or come for both, its up to you.
